DataLand Fun Run 2019: Handog EdukasyonAugust 24, 2019
Health, wellness and camaraderie have been a driving force behind the annual fun run activity of premier real estate developer DataLand Inc. On its third year this 2019, the company aimed not only to contribute to the well-being of employees but of community stakeholders as well.
With this objective in mind, DataLand staged the Dataland Run: Handog Edukasyon last August 24 at the Liwasang Ullalim, CCP Complex in Pasay City. In partnership with the Andres P. Tamayo Sr. Foundation Inc. (APTSFI). We were able to donate such amount form the minimal registration fee that was collected from the runners.
An estimated 1,000 employees not just from DataLand but across the DDT Group of Companies participated in the fun run in three categories: 10K, 5K and 3K. The program started as early as 4:30 AM and kicked off with an invocation and warm-up activity. All throughout the event, employees expended their best to excel in the sports activity but only one male and one female who clocked in the fastest times in each category were recognized.
These were: Clifford Abas and Cassandra Hernandez in the 3K category; Elmer Buhay and Jessica Nocum in the 5K category; and Jeffrey Tepace and Emely Cuamag in the 10K category. Each of them received a trophy and a cash prize. The event ended with a heartwarming message of support and gratitude from DataLand president Engr. Andrea Marie T. Ulep.
