Whiteport Inc. was founded in 2009 by Engr. Danilo D. Tamayo and his daughter, Engr. Andrea Marie T. Ulep. The company name embodies two ideas: “white” stands for purity, while “port” stands for unity. The company started out as a fit-out works contractor, later on expanding as a general contractor offering architectural, civil and structural works—establishing itself as an important player in the Philippine construction industry in a relatively short span of time.
